Raking The Leaves
I would like to propose that we back out of this project. Its a huge commitment and I am not convinced he have the horse power to pull it off. With the other fundraising and Partnership stuff I think we will be in good shape financially.
Can I get some concensus so Judy can let them know. I propose we pass this year

New Groups and tentative schedule (Just need Civic center approval)
I met with Steven and Randy Friday night to discuss the layout and format for the up coming year. Steven's perspective is that we should have 4 groups instead on 3. The jump from the beginning group to the intermediate creates to much of a gap. So the proposal is:
Group 1-Beginners
Beginning group for the kids that are just starting and need to be trained on the strokes turns and pool entry. This group we basically be 2 hours per week. Steven will confirm
Group 2-Juniors
Junior this would be the group that is ready to start training for competitive swimmer. They would be in the pool about 6 hours per week but their practices would ramp up through the year so that the following season they would be able to be part of the intermediate group
Group 3-Intermediate
This group would be in the pool 8 hours per week and be progressing at a pace to move them to the Senior Group
Group 4-Senior
The group would be the top swimmers and in the pool 10 hours per week at the start of the year and ramp up as the year progressed

Paying Via Credit Card
I have the option on the store I created on the Website to allow people to pay there fees via credit card. This would cost us about 1% so on $1000 fees would cost the club $10.00 but we would have the annual fees immediately. Its through the secure Website through Paypal that I have setup for the Online. If people can use their credit cards they may collect points and stuff then we would not have the work on managing the fees paid over the year. Do you thinink we should offer this service. Please post your comments

Calender Fundraising-Your feedback Required
At the last meeting it was decided to to Offer the forever Calender as a fundraiser. Its and 16 month Calender with stickers and things to keep track of events. Calender Costs $10.00 to buy with the normal retail been $20.00. So a calender sold for $20 would allow $4.00 to the parents fundrasing credit and $6.00 to the club after the cost of the Calender was paid. Calenders must be purchased before been shipped. Two Options:
Option One
1) We don't have to sign a contract. I do require payment prior toshipping, however. If the calendar is used as a fundraiser in the usual way(e.g., kids get an order form and go door to door), you would tell me howmany order forms you need and I will send them out to you at no cost. You would then run the fundraiser as you would any other. Receive the paymentsfrom the kids and tally the total number of calendars you need. Then, youwould let me know how many calendars you would like. If you order more than 100 calendars, shipping is free. I will tally the shipping when you tell me how many calendars you want and then give you a final payment amount. Youwould make payment to me and I would send you the calendars. Of course, ifI see you and give you the calendars in person, you could save on shippingcosts.
Option 2
2)You did mention that instead of having the kids solicit orders, you might beinterested in buying a certain number of calendars outright. In that case, let me know how many calendars you want. I will tally the amount owed andthe shipping (if applicable) and let you know how much is due. Once Ireceive payment, I will send you the calendars. They are yours to sell.Unfortunately, because of the dated nature of the product, there are norefunds at this time. If you would prefer to order a lesser amount and thenre-order a second time, that's no problem.
1) So should be sell and then place the order. Less risk and most cost effective for the Club
2) Or is it a impluse buy and we need to buy the Calenders and then Sell them
Please vote for one or 2
If I receive not other feedback I will go with option one
